We worked with Jared, the owner, for our first home buying experience and it couldn't have been easier. At the start, I appreciated that the application process was done all online through a specific portal - it felt safer than other ways of submitting sensitive information that we experienced while exploring other broker options. Jared made us feel like we were his only client as he always made himself available for calls, questions, writing up letters, and submitting documentation in record time. My favorite thing about the experience, though - and about Jared as a professional - was when we explored an option with another broker that seemed like it was going to save us loads of money. Jared was honest and supportive in saying the quote seemed like an amazing deal while remaining completely professional, letting us know that if anything changed, he'd love to still help us. Well, of course, it was too good to be true and we were sorry that we ever strayed! He welcomed us back with open arms and continued to go above and beyond. He even helped recommend a realtor who was great and we ended up sticking with (Trish Woodard) and they worked seamlessly together. He also recommended an insurance broker (Jenna Dado) who helped us save loads of money too! So, pretty much, if you need anything, just go to Jared!

So let me brag about Alex Foster & the Mortgage City team. I'm a small business owner; that being said, for guys like me getting a mortgage is not easy to say the least. We're scrutinized on a different level than an W2 employee. I also had tax issues to solve and a whole load of other problems to figure out. I was at the final hour of getting my young family into a home. I was at the end of my rope trying to pull forward at the time I met Alex. I decided to see if Alex could work any magic in my dire situation. I'm telling you I had 20 days left on my lease and did NOT want to rent another house. Once I stated working with Mortgage City I had HOURLY updates that just radiated positivity. Alex showed me we could do this. We worked through each and every hurdle that such a process entails, this man build the most creative solutions to every issue that needed addressed and did it on such a personal level. Once we officially started the process and pulled credit, Alex got my clear to close in 9 DAYS. I was absolutely blessed to find Alex when I did. I'm writing this review now from my dream home In Clarkston sitting on 5 acres of property. Alex was absolutely incredible! We were closing on a new construction home down in Florida which meant a long time under contract and a million moving pieces. Without him, we would not have been able to close! Our seller, title company, and builders (DR Horton) get 0/5 stars, and dragged their feet whenever they could. Alex was a bulldog when need be to those on the other side of the table, while also proving he had our best interests at heart. He was always available over the phone, and not only took care of everything with the seller, but made time to teach me what he was doing when I asked, and ensure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Bobby was awesome during my Refinance! I was thinking about refinancing for quite some time, but wasn’t sure if I could with my grant from MSHDA. This guy Jared Lincoln from Mortgage City just gets it done. Highly knowledgeable, super easy to work with, and he’s available 24/7 to answer any and all questions. I would highly highly highly recommend working with him and in the future he will be my first and only call. I could not be more satisfied.

I'm so happy to be writing this review from my new dream home!! As a first time home buyer, Alex Foster made the process of getting my first mortgage quick, easy and as stress free as possible. He was quick to respond to ALL of my questions in an incredibly timely manner. I knew that if I needed anything, he would be right there with his knowledge and expertise to assist! I cannot say enough about how happy I was with him and his team, and the peace of mind they gave me through out the entire home buying process. I would 110% use his services again in the future, as well as recommend him to my closest friends and family. I felt as though he really got to know me and my situation, and really did everything he could to make sure I got the house of my dreams in a way that worked best for my pocket book as well!

Jared was very attentive and action oriented towards the needs of my mortgage. Working with Alex was an incredible experience. This was my first time buying a house so a lot of unknowns for me, but Alex always made sure to explain everything in an easy to understand manner. It was a pleasure working with Mortgage City. We were actually working with another company at first. We are so glad we choose to switch to Mortgage City. McKenzie sold us on her company and we loved the service and communication and updates. Although we also had Jennifer as our loan processor, and Jen was great, McKenzie never abandoned us and kept in touch to make sure things were progressing smoothly. Everyone was professional and honest and answered our questions. We had one hiccup and the company owner even called to apologize and made it up to us in a big way. We felt like they cared for us as people and we were not just another transaction. When my children buy their homes we will steer them to Mortgage City because they will be in good hands. I would definitely recommend Mortgage City to anyone looking to buy or refinance a home. They were upfront, honest and could be counted on. Five stars in my book!
