We worked with Jared, the owner, for our first home buying experience and it couldn't have been easier. At the start, I appreciated that the application process was done all online through a specific portal - it felt safer than other ways of submitting sensitive information that we experienced while exploring other broker options. Jared made us feel like we were his only client as he always made himself available for calls, questions, writing up letters, and submitting documentation in record time. My favorite thing about the experience, though - and about Jared as a professional - was when we explored an option with another broker that seemed like it was going to save us loads of money. Jared was honest and supportive in saying the quote seemed like an amazing deal while remaining completely professional, letting us know that if anything changed, he'd love to still help us. Well, of course, it was too good to be true and we were sorry that we ever strayed! He welcomed us back with open arms and continued to go above and beyond. So let me brag about Alex Foster & the Mortgage City team. I'm a small business owner; that being said, for guys like me getting a mortgage is not easy to say the least. We're scrutinized on a different level than an W2 employee. I also had tax issues to solve and a whole load of other problems to figure out. I was at the final hour of getting my young family into a home. I was at the end of my rope trying to pull forward at the time I met Alex. I decided to see if Alex could work any magic in my dire situation. I'm telling you I had 20 days left on my lease and did NOT want to rent another house. Once I stated working with Mortgage City I had HOURLY updates that just radiated positivity. Alex showed me we could do this. We worked through each and every hurdle that such a process entails, this man build the most creative solutions to every issue that needed addressed and did it on such a personal level. Once we officially started the process and pulled credit, Alex got my clear to close in 9 DAYS. I was absolutely blessed to find Alex when I did. They made things so easy to send them info securely and even got my closing at a convenient time and place! I was approved and ready for close in under 2 weeks and ALL my questions were answered during the whole process!

Jared was very helpful starting at the beginning of the process when we needed a quick preapproval for an offer. He was able to get us a great mortgage rate and was available throughout the process to help with all questions.

I'm so happy to be writing this review from my new dream home!! As a first time home buyer, Alex Foster made the process of getting my first mortgage quick, easy and as stress free as possible. He was quick to respond to ALL of my questions in an incredibly timely manner. I knew that if I needed anything, he would be right there with his knowledge and expertise to assist!
